Is there an extra cost to access this
feature?
A. No (and Yes). As long as you
are an active Lifestyle Lounge member, you
may access the Lifestyle Lounge islands at
any time at no additional charge.
However, If you wish to customize your
avatar, you can purchase these upgrades from
other vendors within Second Life.
Purchases are made with Linden dollars
(Lindens). You may purchase Lindens at
the prevailing exchange rate. The
typical exchange rate is $1 US = 262 Linden
dollars. Avatar upgrades can be
purchased to customize your skin, hair
clothes. You can even have your face
photo applied to your avatar to create a
striking resemblance to the real you!
So real, it's almost scary. :-)
Note: couples that wish to have two separate
Second Life Avatars will be required to
create a
His&Hers account, so you may then
register an avatar for both the male and
female.

Q. How do I hear the disco club music?
A. You must ensure your preferences
allow for streaming media. Select
"Edit", "Preferences", "Audio & Video", and
check "Play Streaming Music When Available".
You must then press the play button as show
in the following screenshot (located in the
lower right hand corner of your screen):
Q. Can I use my Lifestyle Lounge member name as my Avatar name?
A. Yes and no. Second Life
requires a first and last name. You
may use your LL member name as your first
name. However, your last name must be
selected by choosing one of the multiple
choices provided by Second Life. We
recommend that you use your LL member name
as your first name, simply to make it easier
for other LL members to find you on LL.
Q. When I speak into my microphone I hear an
echo feedback. How do I prevent that?
A. The best solution is to use a
headset with microphone. If you don't
have a headset, you should turn down your
speaker sound, or move your speakers further
away from your microphone.
Q. When I am in Second Life, and I see another avatar, I can see their
Second Life avatar name, how do I find out
what their LL member name is so I can view
their LL profile?
A. Just type in their avatar name in the
search boxes provided above: "Find another
Lifestyle Lounge member by avatar name:

Q. How do know minors aren't present
on the Lifestyle Lounge Second Life islands?
A. Only active Lifestyle Lounge
members are permitted on our islands.
You should know that if you go off island,
to another island or the mainland, then
minors may be present.
Q. What if Lifestyle Lounge can't
answer my Second Life question?
A. Because Second Life was developed
by Linden Labs, certain technical support
issues are beyond our control.
However, Second Life has a wonderful
knowledge base that you should reference if
you need additional assistance.
